Hi there! I could be a great fit for your student because I have had over 3 years of experience tutoring ages Pre-K to seniors in High School. My transcripts show a stellar performance throughout my time at George Steinbrenner High School. Furthermore, many of my classes were advanced placement and reflect substantial knowledge of the subjects. I am currently a student at the University of South Florida which has enabled me to further solidify my knowledge. I also have experience working with kids and adolescents in other instances such as volunteering at youth groups and babysitting! I am responsible, kind and resourceful which is key when working with students. Looking forward to meeting you!

I went from Special Ed to Ivy League, and help kids others thought were hopeless. I help students get their self esteem back by bringing their grades up in all subjects and making studying fun. I have multiple undergraduate and graduate degrees, and even completed a program at Cornell University in 2017. Before coming back to Florida to be closer to family, I was Director of Academics at Mark Cuban's Shark Tank company Prep Expert in Las Vegas, where I trained perfect score SAT and ACT instructors. Prior to that, I was Director of Programs at the non-profit American Dream U, which helps struggling veterans transition to civilian life. I served with Colin PowelI's America's Promise Alliance through Vegas PBS, helping Las Vegas overcome the highest dropout rate in the nation. I taught at The Nasri School for Gifted Children in Las Vegas, where I developed their science curriculum. I currently teach at Victory High School in New Port Richey. Victory High School is part or Florida Recovery Schools of Tampa Bay, and helps students who were addicted to alcohol and drugs find a path to success. My bestselling book "Lead Serve Win" tells the story of how I started Tim's Tutors and how you can begin your own unique journey of success.

I am currently a student in grad school, and it took me awhile to figure out how to love learning, so I understand if it is coming from a place of confusion or frustration. Now it is something I am very passionate about to making education more accessible and interesting. I have experience teaching in an art class setting of grades preK-8th, so I am very patient and know that not everyone works the same. I currently volunteer with Philly Reading Coaches so I have more specific experience in helping with engagement and focus.

I am a graduating senior in college about to get my degree in Civil Engineering at Northeastern University. I am an honors student with a 3.8 GPA. I have experience tutoring in math for students in Algebra and Pre-Calculus when I was a high school student, and not only do I use math and physics every day in my engineering classes, but I have taken math classes past Calculus III and Differential Equations and Linear Algebra. I achieved a perfect score of 800 on the math section of my SAT and I am happy to impart my knowledge! I found tutoring to be really rewarding in the past, and I want to do it again now that I have a reduced course load. I love connecting with people and getting people as excited as I am about learning! I am great at getting along with all kinds of people, as shown in my election as Vice President of my sorority, and I also have work experience with kids as young as 2 -5 years old as a coach/teacher in basketball and soccer!

My name is Mark Bond. I moved to Florida in 2003 from Mainland China where I was teaching at a local private university in central China (Henan). We had to escape in the dead of night from the university due to the first SARS epidemic in 2003. I wrote a book about it entitled "China in the Age of Sars" available on Amazon. I have lived in Florida ever since. Over the years I have started and ran several businesses and an investment company. Since 2022 I have started 2 Brazilian Jiujitsu schools in the area which are now owned and operated by my assistant coaches. As you can see I am passionate about certain things--chiefly, SELF IMPROVEMENT, EDUCATION, and PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT. I love helping people achieve their absolute best version of themselves and have experience teaching, coaching, and facilitating improved performance across a range of subject areas. Personally, I am currently pursuing a Professional Doctorate Degree in Leadership and Organizational Development. I have an earned MBA in Global Management. Additionally, I have a BA in English Literature along with an AA in Humanities. In 2003 I completed TEFL Certification and many years ago I graduated from the US Army's Legal Specialist School at Fort Jackson, South Carolina. I am passionate in my own life about literature, reading, writing, physical fitness, martial arts, Brazilian jiujitsu and playing bass guitar along with studying Mandarin Chinese. These activities provide me a great deal of joy and gratification and I would love to help you find joy and gratification in pursuing some of your own passions.

I'm an experienced, credentialed teacher who has a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential and a Single Subject Teaching Credential in English. In my career, I have had success helping a wide variety of students achieve their academic goals in various subjects. And this, sometimes required more than just explaining the subject matter. Oftentimes, I would identify other issues, such as excessive nervousness, that prevented the student from succeeding, and I would help the student overcome these issues. I have a passion for helping students as a whole person in addition to helping them with the academic subject. I recently moved to the Las Vegas area, and I will be teaching 6th grade math. Although, my background is primarily in English, I found that I really enjoy teaching math, so I decided to make the switch... although, I still enjoy both. I build strong connections with my students and if you want to see my personality, I encourage you to connect with me before you sign up for sessions.
